#MusicReview: ‘Deliverer’ by Glowreeyah Braimah

#Hellurrguys!

I don’t even know where to start with this song, because rock is home for me. Glowreeyah Braimah showcases her versatility right here! Bt-dubs, I’ve been enjoying Glowreeyah’s ‘The Expression’ via Spotify:)

Moving on to the review proper, the intro to ‘Deliverer’ is phenomenal with an electric guitar power chord progression, which gathers more momentum with the addition of drum beats and digital violins that leave me ecstatic.¬† This is followed by Glowreeyah singing the first verse on a lower octave and then repeating it on a higher one, con fuoco.

I love the bridge with Glowreeyah chiming ‘Rock of Ages cleft for me…’ in staccato¬† and how her voice multiplies itself after two goes, as well as the general panning effect in her voice and instruments. The oohs make me feel like a rockstar and Glowreeyah infuses the appropriate amount of Igbo to enable the song retain its universal rock element.

Without a doubt, every one of Glowreeyah’s tracks is spirit filled, this one not letting me down, talking about God being our deliverer, walking us through the fire. The ending of this song was so stellar, I couldn’t believe it.

Y’all better #checckit here!

PS: Savour the panning effect of this track on really cool sony extra Bass headphones:)
